We went on Christmas Eve after visiting Edinburgh Castle. Very delicious and had a great atmosphere! I had the pesto pasta and if you are thinking of getting the calzone, split it because it is HUGE! Sticky toffee was also delicious! The group got three sticky toffee to share with the 6 of us! I recommend going here if you would like a break from Scottish food or some really good Italian food!

We were looking for a place for dinner and found this quaint restaurant! The atmosphere was so warm and comforting! We ordered few drinks and pasta and dessert. The tagliatelle in pesto was fresh and the taste was amazing; and the portion size was really good! Highly recommend the tiramisu there-just simply delicious!

The best tasting spaghetti Bolognese I've ever tasted, and so plentiful that I left half a bowl of meat sauce. The flatbread was seasoned beautifully. The seating is a bit cramped but manageable. When we arrived, we were told we were not on the books despite having a confirmed reservation. They accommodated us anyway, explaining that the previous owner (apparently, there is new ownership) did not pass along the reservations he collected months ago. From St. Andrew's Square, you want to arrive at this gem nestled away in Edinburgh through a series of closes--narrow alleyways--to add a fun adventure to your dining experience.

We had a great meal here our first night in Edinburgh. The staff was super kind and took the time to chat with us and the food was delicious! We shared the bruschetta, and then I had the pesto pasta, which was very fresh and flavorful. The others in my group had great meals too. Will definitely return when I come back to Edinburgh!
